KELLI SAE

At the New York Cafe Lounge - Philly (12/17/04)

R&B singing sensation, Kelli Sae!!!

At 8:35pm, Kelli Sae started her first Philly set with a song from his debut CD...this smooth R&B ballad is "Life Goes On". "Only" featured some good drumming by Gintas and more of the sensation vocal prowess of Kelli Sae!! "Daydreamin'" was followed by "Candy", which featured a good bass solo by Trevor! Kelli sang "Staying Alive" (from the Philippe Saisse Acoustique Trio "Ready to Go" project) to a comedian in the audience (who was scheduled to do a comedy act between Kelli's sets). "Higher" was followed by "Latina", the fast Latin groove that was MUY CALIENTE...it featured a funky synthesizer solo by Bahnamous Bowie and great backing vocals by Sara Divine and Keith!! "If" featured Kelli's great crooning at the end. "Can't Wait" (Kelli's signature song) featured great solos by all of the musicians! The only drawback to the show was the exclusion of guitars. I really missed hearing the rhythm and lead guitarisms of Mike Ciro! The first set ended at 9:25pm.

SPECIAL THANKS TO HOLLEN "BUTCH" STEWART FOR THE KELLI SAE PICTURE ABOVE!!
