BOOGIEHAWG
At the Grape Street - Philly (10/15/04)
At 10:35pm, D.C.'s funksters BOOGIEHAWG began their
funk set. The second song performed was a fast-tempo funk jam with some
odorious bass riffs! The third song was more of the same odorious bassisms with
some great rhythm guitaring. "Mirror" was good, with the sax riffs
against a good Latin groove...the highlight was the percussion work by the
percussionist, bassist and drummer! "Real Fine Mess" was very good,
but better was the crushing bass force and percussion work on "Go, Go,
Go"! The show was over at 11:20pm.
